The FFP has been\u00a0recognized by human rights experts\u00a0as \u201cthe best workplace-monitoring program\u201d in the US and \u201cone of the great human rights success stories of our day.\u201d\u00a0To learn more, please see the FFSC\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fairfoodstandards.org\/es\/reports\/\">annual report<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>FFSC is based in Florida, but this position is full-time remote work. Starting compensation is $61,341 annually and is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits include employer-paid medical, dental, and life insurance; 20 days of paid vacation and five days of paid sick time; parental leave policies; all federal holidays; and an employer-matched 401(k) plan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate and conduct comprehensive financial and payroll audits of participating growers\u2019 operations;<\/li>\n<li>Draft and fact-check payroll analysis assessing compliance with relevant law and the FFP Code of Conduct;<\/li>\n<li>Analyze supply chain transactions to monitor distribution of the Fair Food Program Premium to farmworkers;<\/li>\n<li>Design corrective actions addressing systemic risks and non-compliance;<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with FFSC analysts and other investigators to improve auditing methods and tools;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare data requests and reports, and organize audit data, using the FFSC database; and<\/li>\n<li>Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience;<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Excel;<\/li>\n<li>Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills;<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to organization, detail, and accuracy;<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and interviewing skills;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform well in a fast-paced setting;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle competing priorities;<\/li>\n<li>Ability\u00a0to work well as part of a team, as well as independently;<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to human rights;<\/li>\n<li>Desire to work closely with people of different\u00a0nationalities, gender, and education levels; and<\/li>\n<li>Spanish-language proficiency useful, but not required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants should send a resume\/CV and a cover letter indicating interest in the position to Judge Laura Safer Espinoza at <a href=\"mailto:careers@fairfoodstandards.org\">careers@fairfoodstandards.org<\/a>.
